This band starten on 2018 but because of the pandemic their live journey started until 2021, and let me tell you about their most featured concerts PER YEAR till now:
2021: A Debut to Remember at Parque Central, Ciudad Juárez
Engine made their live debut in 2021 with a memorable performance at Parque Central in Ciudad Juárez. With their original alignment of: Marcos Perez Renova alias Mark Renvail(lead guitar and vocals) Elias Perez Renova alias Knull (Drums) Denzel Mauricio Gonzalez Villa (Bass) and Elian Perez (guitar) This show was a milestone for the band, as they unveiled a setlist packed with high-energy covers alongside their first five original songs. The audience's response was electric, marking the beginning of Engine's journey as they proved their ability to seamlessly blend punk and metal influences into a sound uniquely their own.
2022: A Theatrical Reinvention at Paso del Norte Theater
Engine took on an unexpected challenge in 2022 when they participated in a production of Beetlejuice Broadway Adaptation at the Paso del Norte Theater.The band reimagined the musical's soundtrack by infusing their signature rock/punk style into the songs, bringing a fresh and rebellious twist to the classic tunes. This daring move not only showcased Engine's versatility as musicians but also highlighted their creativity and willingness to push the boundaries of traditional performances.
2023: Roaring Through Biker Fest at Plaza de la Mexicanidad
Engine’s most explosive performance to date came in 2023 at the Biker Fest held at Plaza de la Mexicanidad, famously known as the site of the iconic "Big Red X" in Ciudad Juárez, playing to a crowd of over 2,000 bikers and rock enthusiasts, Engine delivered a powerhouse set that combined their hard-hitting covers with their original tracks. The band's energy was contagious, and the audience's enthusiasm matched it beat for beat, cementing this event as a career highlight for Engine.
With a growing list of high-impact performances and a reputation for delivering dynamic, high-octane shows, Engine continues to carve out their place in the punk and hard rock scene. Each concert is a testament to their passion, skill, and unwavering dedication to creating music that resonates with their fans.
2024: A Metallica Tribute
One of the most celebrated highlights of 2024 for Engine was their tribute concert to Metallica, where they honored the legendary band by delivering an electrifying setlist of Metallica’s most iconic songs. The crowd was treated to flawless renditions of classics like "Master of Puppets," "One," "Creeping Death," "Welcome Home (Sanitarium)," "Harvester of Sorrow," and the heartfelt "Nothing Else Matters." Engine's unique style added a fresh intensity to these timeless tracks, capturing the spirit of Metallica while imprinting their own style on each performance.
Live Debut of "Don't Have the Control" at Hysteria Venue
Engine also marked 2024 with the highly anticipated live debut of their latest album, “Don't Have the Control”, at Ciudad Juárez's Hysteria venue, opening the show of Metaloide on their tribute of the band Tierra Santa. The band’s new tracks were met with an outpouring of excitement from the audience, who were eager to experience Engine's latest creations in a live setting. The concert showcased the band's evolution, blending their hard-hitting sound with raw, emotionally charged lyrics that resonated deeply with the crowd. Each song was delivered with the passion and intensity that Engine is known for, making the album’s launch an undeniable triumph.
Engine's journey in 2024 has been defined by their ability to pay tribute to the greats while also pushing their own musical boundaries. Their performances have solidified their place as one of the most dynamic and innovative bands in the punk/metal and hard rock scene today.
HAVANA BAR & GRILL (El Paso live debut)
And as they started a new era on the band with a fresh start in a new city, now with the line up of Mark Renvail on vocals and lead guitar, Knull on drums, Critic on rythm guitar and Zahid Fernandez on bass, they performed twice at Havana's bar & grill making their live debut on El Paso Tx in front of family, friends and new fans as a great start.
